This impressive artwork greets visitors to the fourth floor club at Lambeau Field. The Packers classic G logo comes to life in 180 hanging lucite Gs. Created by Natalie Zanecchia and her team, this piece is titled, Mark of Excellence.
Resembling an art gallery, the corridor in the exclusive 4th floor club houses original artworks by all 17 artists in the collection. Shown is Bart Forbes recreation of a Bart Starr pass in his original oil on canvas artwork, Super Bowl 1. Forbes, one of the preeminent sports artists in the country, created six originals for the Collection. Also shown is Daniel Gerhartz’s, The Commitment.
Each elevator lobby was themed by era. Shown here is the Iron Men era, 1919–1940s, and includes content-specific pieces such as (l-r) John Robertson’s Acme Packer, a piece that transports the viewer directly to the frozen tundra; Tom Mosser’s Welcome Home, portraying fans welcoming the 1929 championship team back to Green Bay; and Samantha Wendell’s Teamwork, featuring Curly Lambeau and Don Hutson.
Spanning nearly a century, the history of the Green Bay Packers is without parallel in professional sports. The unforgettable faces, colorful teams, and unprecedented 13 championships are ingrained in every fan’s memory. Whether it be Lombardi’s disciplined approach to the fundamentals, Brett Favre’s enduring 297 consecutive starts, or the new legacy forged by Aaron Rodgers, the history of the Green Bay Packers is the history of America.
The story of the Packers comes to life in “The Green Bay Packers Collection” curated by Sports & the Arts. Incorporating art, photography and graphic wall treatments throughout the walls of Lambeau Field, the collection boasts nearly 150 originally commissioned artworks created by 19 artists, nine of those with direct Wisconsin ties. SATA created diversity within the collection by including distinct mediums including textiles, found objects, mixed media, pencil, oil and acrylic works on canvas, as well as environmental installations, allowing the Packers history to be presented to the fans in captivating ways.
Sports & The Arts designed, developed, and installed over 3,000 square feet of graphic treatments during the suite remodel, celebrating the history and legacy of the team. All research, concepting, design, production and installation is handled through our team giving our clients a streamlined process.
Wisconsin native Greg Gossel’s pop-inspired artwork, Titletown, tells of the Packers championship history through colorful pennants, photos, footballs and fan-favorite phrases. Each piece in this diptych measures over 4’ x 7’ and create quite an impression!
Sports & The Arts offers a variety of options for elevating the suite experience including installing artwork, graphic wall treatments, and framed photography within each suite. We have worked alongside suite holders in image selection, creating not only good will with the suite holders, but also sales incentive. The Sports & The Arts team can provide a consistent, high-quality variety of options in content, framing designs and general aesthetic that can be included in a comprehensive suite offering package.
Complementing the artworks is a collection of framed photography which encompasses the breadth of Packers history and includes imagery that hasn’t been seen since the early 20th century. Collaborating with the Green Bay Press Gazette, Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Associated Press and others, SATA sourced, retouched, printed, framed and installed over 500 pieces of photography for the collection.

The club on the sixth level celebrates two of the most important parts of Packers past and present — the “Packer Backers” and Lambeau Field itself. Sports & The Arts worked with the original architect of Lambeau Field in securing original construction and architectural plans that contributed a different and unexpected element in the design.
